....well ok more like muffin bouquet but nevertheless, we made our first ever cupcake bouquet it was so much fun!
A family member was leaving the country for Canada so we made this cupcake bouquet as a farewell gesture for her and it looked so good! We cheated a little and bought the muffins ready made but it took long enough icing them and then designing the layout of the bouquet so the cakes didn't fall out!
I chose a gorgeous little china red and white gingham pot that had a handle and a heart on and then decorated the bouquet with polka dot cellophane and co-ordinating ribbon.
We had a 45 minute drive to it's destination .... possibly the longest journey of my life and that even includes flights with a little baby lol. I was sure i would be arriving covered in cake and icing as I had the dubious task of holding it on my lap and leaning from left to right depending on the bends i foresaw in the road. Much to the amusement of Mr Lilly Belle as you can imagine!
